Lille Ro Atelier was born from my deep belief that childhood deserves to be protected, honored, and approached with intention. I created this space as a reflection of a slower, more thoughtful, and more connected experience for both children and the adults who care for them.
For the past 16 years, I have worked in Reggio Emilia–inspired classrooms in both Cleveland and Berkeley, where I have had the privilege of learning alongside children as capable, curious, and creative individuals. My work is grounded in a deep respect for childhood and shaped by my training in Conscious Discipline, my practice as a DEI educator, and my time as a fellow at the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco.
I am especially drawn to the power of materials, the beauty of process, and the quiet, meaningful moments where learning unfolds. I believe that the environments we create—and the way we listen to children—shape not only what they learn, but how they see themselves in the world.
Lille Ro Atelier is an extension of this vision. Every detail, from the space itself to the daily rhythm, is intentionally designed to foster creativity, connection, and a sense of calm. My hope is to create a place where children feel deeply seen and valued, where families feel supported, and where childhood is experienced with wonder, curiosity, and joy.
